Left 4 Dead 2: Review

I have been playing Left 4 Dead for about a year or so now, and I still believe the first one is better the the sequel.
As great as it is that we have the new infected, I felt that they let us down a bit also. Starting off with the Jockey. This is the only infected that I really felt should have not been in the game. I felt like you can never jump on anyone, and he is so weak. As a hunter, I felt that in the first game you can be more accurate with pounces. I know I can try to go for a 25 and then it will miss the survivor. With the tank you can do pretty good as long as you have something to throw, If not the chances of you getting blasted up are pretty good. But other then that the other infected are really pretty OK to deal with. But from the new update with the AI infected bots I thought they were there to help. Half the time I am in the game with one other person, and we are doing all the work and the AI would just be standing there doing nothing. Also in the second one, it seems like the lag is so much worse then the first one even if you change it to a dedicated server. There would be times you can be walking and it will just lag you into a another section of the map. I can't keep up with how many times my team got screwed over by bad lag.
The weapons in the games are pretty good. I myself love ether the Shotgun or the AK-47, with my baseball bat or katana. The selection with the weapons are pretty good. You have a lot more options than the first game. I would say that from what I have seen, having a melee weapon is the best thing. The pistols are OK, but if you want to carry them I would say get a Desert Eagle. I can honestly say that I hate the Pump and the chrome shotguns I fell like they are just a waste. It seems like it take 10 shots just to kill a hunter, it is pretty crazy. The grenade launcher is pretty sweet, I just think you only need it for a Tank. Always remember in the game that it only takes 10 melee hits to take down a Tank.
The campaigns are pretty good in L4D2, I think that the Parish is the longest. I do like the way that they make the maps different each time you play, so they mix it up a bit. It has more play time because of that.
The new survivors all bring something different to the table. I can say that Ellis is my favorite even though he talks a lot about his "friend" Keith. Coach is OK but he is always hungry for the food court or something. Nick is a stuck up and I hate his suit. Last but not least is everyone's least favorite person Rochelle or "Brochelle" as we all love to call her. She is just annoying and just plain out scary when looked at up close. If you are Rochelle it will seem like you have had a bad lunch throughout the whole game.
Even though the sequel has more to offer then the first one, I just still like the original. I don't think that you can ever top the birth-mother or anything, whether it be movies, books or in this case, games. If I had to choose with game I would play for the rest of the night after my Clan practice it would be L4D1. I just love getting into a lobby and being my favorite girl Zoey.
What are you guys take on the Left 4 Dead on VS Left 4 Dead 2 topic? Which one do you like better?
