A Lego piece of magic: Lego Harry Potter years 1-4 review

This new Lego take on Harry Potter makes game play fun and simple. You will play has Harry, Ron, and Hermione along with a handful of other characters from the book that you will unlock in the game. Harry's goal is to save the wizarding world from the evil Lord Voldemort. So you will attend classes at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry to learn new spells and use them along your journey. As the title suggests in Lego Harry Potter years 1-4 you will be able to play all 4 years in one game which is more bang for your buck, but the downside to this is it seems to drag on. At least to me it drags on, and I think it does for two reasons. The first reason is because it's lego and your just doing the same thing over again so it gets a little bit repetitive. The second reason is that in the game you're pretty much re-playing the scenes from the movie.
Which is nice and all so that the Harry Potter legacy lives on, but with it being Lego as I said earlier it does get repetitive.

Lego Harry potter was the first Lego game that I have ever played in the Lego series. I do think it's a fun game and would recommend it for any Harry Potter fan of all ages. And maybe even to somebody who is completely new to the Harry Potter series as the game does go over all the important scenes of the movie. As for someone who has never read the books and wants to play the game I would say go read the books. Because not only are they considered a classic and a good read, you might have some trouble understanding the Lego language. Although you would probably get the general idea. As far as rating this game goes I would give it 4/5 stars.

What next?
